Meet Mo and Bailey

Mo is on the left.  Puff and I adopted Mo on June 4th, 2006 from HANC rescue.  Brent and Deb did a fantastic job of providing Mo with a super foster home.  While Mo may not be a big Newf, he makes up for it with a big, lovable Newf heart.  He is definitely the man of the house and takes his job very seriously.  When he first arrived he thought he needed to protect the girls from their parents, but has since learned that the parents are okay.  It's perfectly okay for Mo to make the girls scream, but adults are not supposed to do that to his girls.   He absolutely lives for the days that my Granddaughters come out to play "chase" with him.  They'll chase each other around the furniture for hours on end and will even just chase each other in circles in the living room.  He also likes to play tug-o-war with the girls.  He can actually drag all 3 across the floor at the same time.  Mo also likes to play in his swimming pool and loves to put Imagehis paws up on the deck railing to lean against us.  He's definitely a kisser and a cuddle bug and is not above trying to crawl on my lap when I'm on the couch.    Such a handsome little guy and what a camera ham.

Bailey is the one on the right side.  Her original owners had her tied up under a carport, without even a dog house, a slightly imbedded collar and severely underweight.  She was weak enough that 20 minutes of play would leave her wobbling in the hind end.   Over 30 pounds of weight and several inches of height later, Bailey is a good size young lady.  Bailey just celebrated her first birthday in December and is still growing.  She's now the biggest ofImage the 3 Newfs.  She's also a high energy, inquisitive and mischievous puppy.   She keeps me on my toes trying to find things for her to do for entertainment.  Bailey loves attention and is also very good with the Granddaughters.   One of her favorite pastimes is hassling Mo.  It's the little sister harassing the big brother syndrome.  I originally rescued Bailey at the end of August from her owners.  Her first trip into the house just about petrified her.  She kept sneaking up on furniture and stuff to figure out what it was.  These days she bounces through the house and looks for stuff to get into.  Her energy knows no bounds.  She loves being loved.
